“ I've been searching for my go-to restaurants since I got here. Then I learned that people drive from Redding to Shasta Lake for their Chinese food. I cannot believe how much food they cram into the box. It's literally the shape of the box when you open it. They must fill both sides and slam it closed. Theres big chunks of quality vegetables and meat everywhere. This produce is fresh and it shows. It crunches, the celery CRUNCHES! It's soooo delicious. When I first heard about it, I wasnt sure, because they were in a building attached to a gas station. I was like idk bro... but yes, bro. Yes. It's a testament to how good their food tastes. They graduated to a really nice location now, which is here. The new dining room is beautiful with really lovely abalone artwork. It's squeaky clean. ”
“ Took my husband here for the 1st time yesterday, and we were both impressed! The staff was friendly and even brought out a cold bottle of water with cups complimentary. The prawns are huge, and their chow mien is near perfection. We will definitely be back! ”

I took pics while waiting for our order to share my observations; i'll get back to this later. Food is pretty good for the price. Large portions, food seems to be prepared at such a fast pace. The vegetables are placed in each dish rather chunky so it is pretty difficult to serve with the simple plastic utensils that they provide you with. We ordered the almond chicken, the potstickers, the general tao chicken, the vegetable fried rice, the pork chow mein and brocoli beef. My favorite was the potstickers, almond chicken and general tao chicken and pork chow mein). I ordered mostly from reading the reviews that others had posted so thanks to the other foodies like me.) the were a party of 4 not including a young child (4.5) The child was really keen on the potstickers. Anyways, based on reviews i understand why people generally eat out bc they lack proper serving spoons, food isn't well mixed; u have a fork and spoon and styrofoam plates. The portions themselves were so big that i think our party could still be eating the leftovers for two more days. The bill came to about 90. Really really cheap; think that the restaurant owners are really humble and considerate to customers. Even the cold refrigerated drinks near the cash register for customers to buy are thoughtfully priced and less than you'd expect to pay for bottled drinks in other restaurants. I could see us coming back. I recommend this restaurant to others for being a honest thoughtful business. ”
“ My friend took me here for a quick lunch. Learned they had relocated and today was 1st day new location. Spacious new area that was cozy and comfortable. We ordered a combo special to dine in and found a seat. I thought we would be going back to counter when food was ready in 10 min but nope. The lady brought us both a small bowl of egg drop chicken flavor soup to start. OMG! It was sooo delicious! Light n refreshing and WE both had no idea we were as hungry as that soup had us feeling. So tasty it took major self control to not be animals and lick the deliciousness from the bowl! I want more just writing this. Then our combos were served up and we just savored each bite. So tender, tasty and fresh. Perfectly spicy. Best lil hidden gem for chinese food! ”
